The problem

Most business websites cost more than they earn.

They look fine in a screenshot. Then they load slowly, don't show up on Google, and nobody on the team can change them without paying someone.

01

Built on a template

The same theme your competitors use, loaded with features you never asked for and pay for in speed.

02

Invisible on search

No structure for Google, so the site depends on ads to get any visitors at all.

03

Locked to one person

Every text change goes through a developer, and the files often aren't even in your name.

04

No path to a sale

Pages describe the company but never ask the visitor to call, book or buy.

What's included

Everything a website needs to bring in business

Custom-coded design

UI designed for your brand and built by hand, not bought as a theme.

A backend you can manage

WordPress or Laravel, so your team edits content without a developer.

Arabic and English

Two languages on one structure, with the Arabic layout tested right-to-left.

SEO from day one

Page structure, titles and schema decided before the design.

Speed and Core Web Vitals

Light pages, optimised images and clean code that load fast on mobile.

Handover in your name

Domain, hosting, code, analytics and Search Console, all owned by you.

Everything in one handover

No lock-in, ever.

In detail

We design a website that helps you achieve advanced results in search engines.

Arqam Web is a web design company in Egypt, based in Sheikh Zayed, Giza. We build business websites and WooCommerce stores, and we handle search visibility after launch. A project starts with a scoping session and ends with a site handed over in full, with every login and every file in the client’s own name.

What you actually get from a web design company

Most quotations from a web design company describe the result and skip the handover. Here is what leaves the project with you:

Item Detail
Interface design A design for every page type on the site, approved by you before any code is written
Build WordPress on a custom theme, or a from-scratch build when the project needs one
Copy We write the core pages, or format the copy you supply
Search setup Titles, descriptions, URL structure, sitemap and structured data
Admin panel You edit text, images and pages without coming back to us
Full ownership Domain, hosting and admin registered in your name, not ours
Support window Any defect found after handover is fixed, for a period written into the contract

That last row matters more than it looks. Some web design companies register the domain and hosting under their own account, which quietly locks the client in. We register everything in the client’s name from day one.

The stages of a project, from first meeting to handover

These stages are what separates a web design company from a build that starts with a design and ends in rework:

Project stages at a web design company in Egypt
The six stages of a website project, from scoping to handover.
  1. Scoping. A session to understand your business, your buyer, and what you want a visitor to do. The output is a written document you sign off on.
  2. Site structure. The page list, the order, and how pages relate. Changing the structure here costs minutes. Changing it after the build costs days.
  3. Design. We start with the homepage and one service or product page. Once those are approved, every other page is built on the same system.
  4. Build. The design becomes a working site, phone first, because that is where most of your visitors are.
  5. Content and review. Final copy and images go in, then every page is checked on at least two browsers and two screen sizes.
  6. Launch and handover. Domain, SSL, analytics, search console, and a working session that walks you through the admin panel with your own logins.

The website types we build and who each one suits

Type Suits
Brochure site A company that needs a professional presence, a services page and a way to be contacted
Service site A business where each service deserves its own page and its own search term
Online store Direct selling with cart, payment, shipping and stock
Catalogue site Products shown but not sold online, where the order happens by phone or WhatsApp
Landing page One ad campaign with one goal
Web application Booking, accounts, or a client portal

A web design company that skips this conversation is guessing. Picking the wrong type is the most expensive mistake in the whole project, because fixing it means rebuilding. We wrote out the differences in our guide to types of websites.

How to compare quotes from more than one web design company

Three quotes at three different prices does not mean the dearest is the best. Put them side by side and ask every web design company the same questions:

  • Whose name will the domain and hosting be registered under?
  • How many page types does the quote cover, and what does an extra type cost?
  • Who writes the copy? If it is you, the deadline is yours too.
  • How long is the support window after handover, and what exactly does it cover?
  • Is the site on a content system you can run yourself?
  • Can I see a live site you built, not a screenshot?

The last question is the one that separates the answers. A screenshot is designed. A live site opens on your phone and can be tested.

What sets the price

No web design company can give you a final number before it knows the scope. Prices move on:

  • The number of page types, not pages. Twenty service pages on one layout cost less than five pages on five layouts.
  • Whether the design is custom or built on an existing design system.
  • Whether there is a store, how many products, and which payment and shipping methods.
  • How many languages. A bilingual site is not double the work, but it is not the same work either.
  • Who writes the copy and who shoots the photography.
  • Integrations such as a payment gateway or an accounting system.

Published packages and their prices are on the pricing page. Anything outside those packages gets a written quote after a scoping session.

Why a well-funded website still fails

We see this often, and not only on sites we inherit: a good-looking build that brings in nobody. A web design company that stops at the visuals leaves these in place. The causes repeat.

  • The homepage talks about the company instead of the visitor’s problem. People arrive looking for a solution, not a founding date.
  • Five services crammed onto one page. That page ranks for none of them.
  • No obvious way to make contact. A number in the footer is not an invitation.
  • Slow on a phone. Multi-megabyte images lose the visitor before the first paragraph loads.
  • Nobody is measuring. Without analytics you cannot tell which page works.

We check all of these before handover, and we went through them in more depth in how to make your site stand out.

Launch is not the finish line

A site that is handed over and then left alone loses its value within months. Security updates stop, the content ages, and the competitor who publishes every week moves ahead of you in search.

So a serious web design company separates the build from what follows: monthly maintenance covering updates, backups and uptime monitoring; search optimisation as an ongoing service; and content production when you have nobody to write. Three separate services, and you take what you need.

Before you commission anything, read what a website is actually made of so you know what you are paying for, and how to get value from your website for what happens after launch.

Published work you can open right now

Every project in the portfolio has a page explaining what was built, and the live site is open to visit.

The rest is on the projects page. Live work is the only evidence worth asking a web design company for.

A web design company in Sheikh Zayed serving Egypt and the Gulf

Our office is in Al Saraya Mall, Sheikh Zayed, and clients are welcome in it. Clients outside Cairo and Giza, and in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, work with us remotely: video calls, WhatsApp for day to day, and the same handover whether the client is in October City or Riyadh. We do not claim an office in a city where we have none.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a website take to build?

A brochure site usually runs two to four weeks, a service site four to eight weeks, and an online store longer because product entry, payment and shipping all take time. The biggest cause of delay is rarely the build. It is content and photography arriving late from the client.

Will the site appear in Google straight after launch?

No. Google needs time to crawl and index new pages. You may show up for your own company name within days, but competing for a term like your service plus your city takes months of content and links. Launch setup puts you on the road rather than shortening it.

Do I own the website completely?

Yes. Domain, hosting and admin are registered in your name and your email, and you receive every login at handover. You can move the site to any provider at any time, without our permission and without a fee.

Can I edit the site myself afterwards?

Yes. Text, images, pages and posts are all editable from the admin panel with no coding, and we run a hands-on session at handover. What needs us is anything that changes the design system or adds a new function.

What is the difference between a web design company and a freelancer?

A freelancer is cheaper and faster on small projects. A web design company gives you a team of specialists, a contract, and continuity when someone is away. The real difference shows up later: who you call six months on when something breaks.

Do you work with clients outside Egypt?

Yes. We have clients in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and the work is fully remote: video meetings, WhatsApp for day to day, and the same delivery standard. The only difference is the time zone, which is one hour to the Gulf.
