How Much Does SEO Cost Per Month?

SEO cost per month at Arqam Web starts at $235 for the Essential package on a three-month commitment, covering two articles a month, three external links, 25 tracked keywords, one hour of technical support and a monthly report. The figure is published on our pricing page. What moves it is the size of your site and its technical condition.

The number on its own tells you very little. What matters is which work you receive each month, and when you are entitled to judge the result.

What are you actually paying for in the SEO cost per month?

SEO is not one service. It is four different jobs sold under a single name, and quotes differ mostly because each supplier sells a different mix of the four.

Item What it means in practice What to ask
Technical work Page speed, indexing, broken links, sitemap health Does this include doing the work, or only reporting it?
Content New pages and articles, plus improving what exists How many pieces a month, and who writes them?
External links Real mentions of your site on other real sites How many, and from what kind of site?
Measurement Tracking keywords, traffic and enquiries How many keywords tracked, and how often do reports arrive?

A supplier who quotes a price without itemising those four is selling you an unknown. A supplier who sells reporting without implementation is selling you paper.

Why does the SEO cost per month differ between two websites?

Three factors move the figure more than anything else, and all three can be measured before you sign.

The technical condition of the site. A slow or poorly indexed site needs two months of repair before any ranking work makes sense. Google publishes the good values for its three page experience metrics on web.dev: Largest Contentful Paint at 2.5 seconds or less, Interaction to Next Paint at 200 milliseconds or less, and Cumulative Layout Shift at 0.1 or less, all assessed at the 75th percentile of page views.

How much content the target needs. A store with a hundred products means work across a hundred pages. A five-page service site does not. One keyword sometimes needs a single page and sometimes needs ten.

Competition in the target market. Ranking a local service in Egypt or the Gulf is a different job from competing with international sites on a generic term. That difference shows up in the number of pages required and in the time it takes, not in an hourly rate.

When do SEO results start to appear?

This is the question the biggest lies are sold on, and Google has published an answer to it.

Google’s documentation states that every change you make takes time to be reflected on its end, that some changes might take effect in a few hours while others could take several months, and that you likely want to wait a few weeks before assessing whether the work had beneficial effects in search results.

In practice that means different parts of the same month move at different speeds.

Type of work When the effect shows Where you see it
Fixing a page that was not indexed After the next crawl Search Console
Improving page speed Immediately in lab tests, later in field data Page experience report
Rewriting a title and meta description After the next crawl Click-through rate in Search Console
New content on a competitive term The slowest of the four Keyword position and traffic

That is why our SEO package is sold on a three-month commitment rather than month to month. One month is enough to do work and not enough to measure it, and selling a single month means selling a report.

What do you receive in the first month?

The first month of any serious SEO engagement is a setup month, not a ranking month. These are the items you should see in it.

What you receive in month one for your SEO cost per month
Six items you receive in the first month for your SEO cost per month.

A written technical audit of the whole site: which pages are not indexed and why, broken links, duplicate pages, and the slowest templates. The audit is delivered as a task list rather than a coloured dashboard.

Search Console and GA4 connected under your own account, the sitemap submitted, and a check that robots.txt is not blocking pages you want found. That single step sometimes reveals a site has been hidden from indexing the whole time.

An agreed keyword list, split into three groups: terms that sell, terms used by people comparing suppliers, and informational terms that build trust. Agreeing this list before anyone writes prevents the biggest argument available at month three.

Then the first two articles, and a baseline: impressions and clicks as they stand today, so the third month has something honest to be measured against.

Which promises mean the SEO cost per month will be wasted?

Google’s documentation states plainly that no one can guarantee a #1 ranking, and warns against suppliers who guarantee rankings, claim a “special relationship” with Google, or advertise a “priority submit” of your site to the search engine.

Add three practical warning signs: a monthly price with no page or article count attached, a report showing keywords you never asked for while ignoring the ones that sell, and no access for you to your own Search Console property.

The Search Console account should be in your name. It is the one data source nobody can prettify.

Do you need SEO, or do you need a better website?

Plenty of businesses pay monthly for SEO when the problem sits in the site itself.

If your site receives visits and turns none of them into enquiries, the problem is the page rather than the position. And if it does not open properly on a phone, spending on rankings pours water into a leaking bucket.

Read one month of Search Console and GA4 data before signing any monthly contract. The numbers will tell you which of the two problems you have.

Why does search matter this much in Egypt and the Gulf?

Because search here is effectively one engine. StatCounter data for August 2026 puts Google’s share of search in Egypt at 95.37%, which makes visibility in Google not one channel among several but the channel.

That raises both the value of doing the work and the cost of ignoring it. A page that does not appear is a page nobody reads.

How do you compare two SEO quotes?

Put both quotes in one table using the four items above, then add four questions that expose the rest.

Who implements technical changes on the site, you or my team? How many keywords are tracked, and who chose them? Do the articles remain mine if I stop the service? And whose name is on the Search Console account?

The quote that answers all four in writing is the quote you can hold to account after three months.

Where to start with your SEO cost per month

Start with an audit before buying any package. The audit tells you whether you need two months of technical work first, or whether the site is sound and content is the missing piece.

Package details and what is included are on the SEO service page and the pricing page. If the website itself turns out to be the item needing work, How Much Does a Website Cost in Egypt breaks down those costs instead.

Frequently asked questions about SEO cost per month

How much does SEO cost per month in Egypt and the Gulf?

SEO cost per month at Arqam Web starts at $235 for the Essential package on a three-month commitment paid upfront, covering two articles monthly, three external links, 25 tracked keywords, an hour of technical support and a monthly report. What raises the figure is site size, technical condition and how much content the target needs.

Why is SEO sold on a three-month commitment rather than monthly?

Because one month is enough to do the work and not enough to measure it. Google’s documentation says some changes take effect within hours while others take several months, and advises waiting a few weeks before judging results. Selling a single month means selling a report rather than an outcome.

Can anyone guarantee me the number one position?

No. Google’s documentation states that no one can guarantee a #1 ranking, and warns against suppliers who guarantee rankings or claim a special relationship with Google. Any guarantee of that kind is a sign the supplier is selling something they do not control.

Do I need SEO or a new website?

Check your own data first. If visits arrive but never become enquiries, the problem is the page rather than the ranking, and the fix is the site. If the visits themselves are scarce and your pages do not appear in search at all, that is the job SEO does.

Who owns the content and the Search Console account?

The answer should be you in both cases, written into the contract. Articles produced for your site stay yours if you stop the service, and the Search Console property is registered in your name with the supplier granted access. That protects your data when you change supplier.

What should a monthly SEO report contain?

Three things: what was actually done this month, named item by item; figures from Search Console covering impressions and clicks; and the next step with the reason for it. A report listing positions for keywords you never asked about, while ignoring incoming enquiries, is built for display rather than measurement.
