Overview

How we transformed this business

The Problem icon
Challenge

The Problem

Rahati Spa’s marketing team wanted a site that carried their identity, and their management was not sure design work of that kind justified a specialist company or the price one would quote.

Our Approach icon
Strategy

Our Approach

We spent the meeting on requirements instead of on selling, reviewed every detail afterwards, and built a single proposal against what they had said. Then we structured the site around four content types so the team could run it without us.

Result

The Outcome

Ten services, twenty-two offers, eight branches and eleven named reviews, each as its own content, with booking going straight to WhatsApp and forty-seven blog articles behind the service pages. The client who started out unsure has since recommended us to others.

Project Story

From vision to launch — every step, intentional

  • They wanted a site that carried their identity, not a template with their logo on it
  • Management questioned whether design work of this kind justified a specialist company, or its price
  • We treated that as the thing the first proposal had to answer
  • We took the full requirements rather than presenting a pitch
  • Every detail was reviewed afterwards, on our side, before design started
  • The proposal was built against what they said, not against a house style
  • We presented one proposal, built against the stated requirements
  • It came back approved with minor amendments
  • We applied them and the design was signed off
  • Ten services and twenty-two offers each hold their own entry
  • Eight branches are records rather than paragraphs inside a page
  • Eleven customer reviews are content the team can add to
  • The site was delivered and the team was walked through managing it
  • Adding an offer or opening a branch does not need us
  • The client went on to recommend us to others

What We Built

Performance & Delivery

Eight Branches, Each With a Page

Six in Riyadh, at Al Taawun, Al Thumamah, Al Shifa, Laban, Al Khaleej and Al Janadriyah, plus Abha and Al Majmaah. Each branch is its own record, so opening a ninth is an entry rather than a redesign.

Ten Services as Their Own Content Type

Moroccan bath with clay, Moroccan bath with beldi soap, Swedish, Thai, Shiatsu, hot stones, air cupping, foot massage, skin care, and hands and feet care. Each gets a page of its own rather than a line in a list.

Twenty-Two Offers the Team Publishes Itself

Offers change. They live as their own content type, so marketing puts one up without a developer and without editing a page.

Eleven Customer Reviews, Named

Reviews are entries carrying the customer’s name, not a rotating banner of anonymous praise.

Booking Goes Straight to WhatsApp

Every booking button opens WhatsApp. A form would have put a step between wanting an appointment and asking for one.

A Blog Behind the Services

Forty-seven articles on massage, Moroccan baths and spa care sit behind the service pages, which is where somebody researching a treatment before booking ends up.

Behind the Results

Why this project succeeded

The Doubt Was the Brief

They asked whether it was worth paying a specialist for.

Management said plainly that they were not sure the design justified a specialist company or its price. Treating that as an objection to overcome would have produced a sales meeting. Treating it as the requirement produced a first proposal that had to be right rather than one that opened a negotiation.

One Proposal, Not Three Rounds

Approved with minor amendments.

The proposal was built against the requirements they gave rather than against a style we prefer, and it came back approved with small changes. Rounds of revision are usually the price of guessing early. The way to avoid them is to spend the first meeting listening.

Built So They Can Run It

Handover included the training.

Services, offers, branches and reviews are separate content types, so the marketing team publishes a new offer or opens a branch on its own. We delivered the site and showed them how, which is the difference between owning a site and renting a developer.

The Client Who Doubted It Referred Us

The doubt did not survive the delivery.

The management that questioned whether the work was worth commissioning went on to recommend us to other clients. On this project that is the only verdict worth reporting.
