The founder is American, and he came to us on a recommendation from a client we had worked with before. He was starting a new brand: content about healthy living and fitness, plus a shop for sports and gym products.<\/p>\n
A brief that arrives from another continent has a particular failure mode. Everyone agrees on the words, nobody notices they mean different things by them, and the disagreement only surfaces when the first design is presented and it is too late to be cheap. Words like clean, energetic and premium survive a whole discovery call without anyone finding out they disagree.<\/p>\n
So before we designed anything, we ran online meetings, recorded the requirements, and then showed him existing sites as references and asked him to confirm that this was the direction he meant. He confirmed it. That exchange cost an hour and removed the argument that usually costs a fortnight.<\/p>\n
From there it ran straight: a full study with a quote, agreement on the quote, design, presentation, a short list of additions and changes, implementation, approval, build, and delivery.
